"The Heart Behind Kikay Vibes"
Hi. I'm Chey, the creator of Kikay Vibes.
My love for creating comes from my mom. Growing up, i remember the sound of her sewing machine and the way she could make something beautiful out of simple fabric. Even after she had a stroke, her spirit never gave up she still found joy in creating, doing cross-stitch with just one hand. My dad would help her thread the needle, and together they kept creating love through art.
I miss them both deeply. There were days when that feeling of loss felt too heavy, but I found comfort in creating again by sewing, designing, making scrunchies that reminded me of her warmth and strength.
That’s how Kikay Vibes was born. 🌸
It became more than just scrunchies or accessories it became a reminder of love, resilience, and connection. Every piece I make carries a bit of that story, that emotion, and that reminder that creativity can heal.
